E&E Team Member Spotlight

Dr. Chaney Williams-Ledet provides job-embedded professional development at state & national in-services regarding equity for EACH student; on equitable transformation for educational organizations. She is recognized for her abilities to create a climate of high-productivity and collegiality, coupled with strong emphasis in PK-12 curriculum, Bilingual education (Spanish, English and Chinese), ESL, ELA, Social Studies, STEM, and research-based best practices. 

Chaney is skilled in training instructors on the application and formulation of data to assist students’ positives outcomes in the classroom. She is a local, state, and national presenter on topics including leadership development, root-cause analysis data, organizational climate and culture, discipline, management, curriculum, budgeting and vision alignment, formative assessments and virtual leadership coaching. She has extensive experience in supervision and training of pre-service teachers and administrators in best practices and preparing both teachers and administrators for state certification exams.

Dr. Shelley McKinley has more than 20 years of experience in education as an assistant superintendent, principal, teacher, and educational consultant focusing on curriculum, instruction, and assessment in face-to-face and virtual settings. She has a doctorate in curriculum and instruction and has Texas Superintendent and Mid-Management certifications.

Shelley specializes in designing and implementing programs, conducting program evaluations, and taking best practices to scale. She utilizes the train-the-trainer model to empower others and engage adult learners with content that is relevant to their roles in the organization. When working directly with K-12 students, Shelley defines the learning goals and objectives and provides rigorous experiences for 21st century learners.

Shelley is a contributing writer for eHow Education, and her study on teacher efficacy was referenced in the Journal of the National Association for Alternative Certification.
