This month’s pick is. Dr. Montra Rogers, Officer, Curriculum and Instruction at Houston Independent School District

The title of the book is Americanah a novel by Chimamanda Ngozi AdichieDr. Rogers, who is an avid reader states that she has read this book numerous times. Although fiction it addresses themes such as identity, migration, and immigration policy.  Furthermore, she and her team examine the unspoken schism between Africans who migrate to America and African Americans.
